Quinoa
½ cup Quinoa
1 cup water
1 teaspoon or cube of chicken stock
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 level teaspoon of butter/ oil
Procedure
Wash Quinoa. Cook as you would cook rice (evaporation method, microwave or rice cooker) adding all the other ingredients.
Serve as an alternative to rice. Great accompaniment to Asian food and curry.

Ingredients
1.2 kg Desiree potatoes
300 ml cream
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup grated cheese.
You can also use Sebago, Coliban or Royal Blue potatoes
Procedure
Par cook sliced potatoes.
Layer potatoes and thin slices of onion and a sprinkle of grated cheese in an ovenproof dish.
Pour cream and milk mixture around and over layers. Cover
Put in moderate over. Cook until tender. Potatoes will absorb mixture.

Ingredients
1 ripe Pineapple
zest and juice 1 orange
3 tbls brown sugar
2/3 cup vodka
.300 ml cream
4 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
Procedure
Preheat oven to 200 C
Peel and chop pineapple into bite-sized chunks. Place in ovenproof dish and cover with orange juice and zest. Sprinke with 2 tablespoons brown sugar and pour at least 1/2 cup vodka over.
place in the oven for 15-20 minutes whish you prepare the mint cream.
Whip cream. Add mint, 1 tbls sugar and remaining vodka and serve with hot pineapple.
