Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken (partially cooked) or BBQ Chicken  
  • 1/4 Wombok or green cabbage  
  • 2 stalks celery - diced  
  • .250 gram pea or sliced beans  
  • 2 carrots - diced  
  • 1 onion - chopped  
  • 2 tablespoons rice  
  • 1 packet Chicken Noodle soup  
  • 1 teaspoon curry  
  • Salt and pepper  
  • 2 -2.5 cups water  
  • Oil  

Procedure

  1. To a hot pan add oil and chicken and brown lightly, add vegetables, rice , soup mix, salt, pepper and curry.  
  2. Stir in water.  
  3. Mix well and cook uncovered over a moderate heat for 40 minutes. Stirring occasionally.  
  4. Add further 1/2 cup water if necessary.
