Ingredients
- 1 leek
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp chilli or sambal oelek
- 1 tsp fresh thyme - chopped
- 1 tsp butter and oil to cook
Procedure
- Cut leek lengthwise to clean under running water.
- Chop leek and to pan with melted butter. Add thyme and chilli / sambal oelek. Stir whilst cooking.
- Add brown sugar. Stir.
- Serve immediately. Serve as a vegetable - great with chicken or steak.
